“Orbiting Earth in the spaceship, I saw how beautiful our planet is. People, let us preserve and increase this beauty, not destroy it!"

Yuri Gagarin

The study of satellite images allows us to observe the evolution of certain weather phenomena on our planet. Likewise, we can observe and study the phenomena, catastrophes and their consequences in the past. By acquiring this information we can generate predictive models to face future disasters with greater agility. Currently, the CIV uses satellite images to study the behavior of floods and their consequences in Mexico. Our efforts allow for much clearer action plans in the places most vulnerable to future flooding.
